roll #25

silver gelatin prints, artist’s book
2026
Analogue photography speaks to the hand of an artist. The exposure while photographing, the choice of image to print, and when and where to burn and dodge, all signifying a physical, labor-intensive practice. It demands slowness to be in the moment and to truly take in the environment. Because of the intensity of this practice, only a select few images on a roll of film live outside a contact sheet; never receiving the chance to be a print. With this project, I challenge my own practice by printing every image from a roll of film, bringing them to life on paper, and ensuring no image is forgotten on the contact sheet.
