the versions of us
Cyanotype Prints, Letterpress, Artist’s Book
2025When I think about the different versions of ourselves, I think about the idea of a reflective self. A you that is technically and scientifically the same, yet it's not; it's not your true original self, it's a unique entity all on its own. Sometimes our reflections don’t look like us, they feel warped, distorted, disconnected. It's a version of us that is partially within our control but also out of our hands when it appears and reflects back at us; the version of us that exists within the minds of people around us. A completely different person than the person perceived by the self.
